Bookish is a typeface for the indulgent reader of txts. Like a well-tuned piano, these letters are traditionally crafted and reproduced with precision. Artefacts from each step of the process are recorded faithfully: The calligraphic brush gives a classic structure that is easy to read and the phototypesetting device can scale the letters to precisely the size necessary. Only someone must have been drunk while calibrating the phototypesetting machine — these shapes as are right as purple rain.
